Alokdia High School students’ reunion held
The reunion of old students of Alokdia High School under Madhupur upazila of
Tangail was held on the premises of the school on September 2 amid enthusiasm.
A discussion meeting was held on the occasion. Minister for Food and Disaster
Management Dr. Abdur Razzaque MP was chief guest
while former state minister for Foreign Affairs Abul
Hasan Chowdhury, Prof. Dr. Kamrul Hasan
were special guests at the discussion meeting. Among others, Awami League
leader of Madhupur upazila Sorower Alam Khan Abu and Azizul Hoque Lulu spoke on
the occasion.
The meeting was presided over by the president of the school governing body
Abul Kashem Chowdhury.
The chief guest in his speech said, AL government has been working for the
all-out development of the country. It will fulfil all the election pledges in
phases.
He urged the youths to take active part in the nation building activities.
The discussion meeting was followed by cultural function.
A large number of people attended the function.
